Peptic Ulcers

Peptic ulcers are painful sores that develop on the inner lining of the stomach, small intestine, or esophagus. They are often caused by a bacterial infection (Helicobacter pylori) or the long-term use of certain medications (such as NSAIDs). 

Yakrit Roga

Liver Cirrhosis, in Ayurveda, is often referred to as Yakrit Roga, characterized by the progressive scarring and dysfunction of the liver. This leads to the formation of nodules, obstructing blood flow and impairing liver function.

Lactose Intolerance

Lactose intolerance, referred to as Dugdha Asatmyata in Ayurveda, is a digestive disorder characterized by the inability to properly digest lactose, the sugar found in milk and dairy products. This occurs due to a deficiency of the enzyme lactase, which is responsible for breaking down lactose. 

Kamala (Hepatitis)

Kamala, in Ayurveda, refers to a condition characterized by jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), fever, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort. It signifies an inflammation of the liver, a vital organ responsible for detoxification, protein synthesis, and metabolic regulation.

Grahani Roga

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), known as Grahani Roga in Ayurveda, is a common digestive disorder characterized by abdominal pain, bloating, changes in bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation, or both), and excess gas.

GERD

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a chronic digestive disorder that occurs when stomach acid or bile flows back up into the esophagus. This backflow irritates the lining of the esophagus, causing heartburn, chest pain, and other uncomfortable symptoms. 

Atisara

Gastroenteritis, often referred to as Atisara in Ayurveda, is an inflammation of the stomach and intestines. It is characterized by a range of symptoms, including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and fever.

Gastritis

Raynaud’s disease is a condition that affects blood flow to the extremities, primarily the fingers and toes. It causes the blood vessels in these areas to constrict in response to cold temperatures or emotional stress, leading to numbness, tingling, and color changes (white, blue, then red).

Gallstones

Gallstones, referred to as Pitta Shleshma Roga in Ayurveda, are hardened deposits that form within the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ located beneath the liver that stores bile, a fluid produced by the liver that aids in digestion. 

Medoroga

Fatty liver disease, in Ayurveda, is often referred to as Medoroga, a condition characterized by the abnormal accumulation of fat within the liver cells. While not always symptomatic in early stages, it can progress to more serious liver conditions like cirrhosis.

Constipation

Constipation, referred to as Vibandha in Ayurveda, is a condition characterized by difficulty or infrequent bowel movements. It can manifest as hard, dry stools, straining during bowel movements, and a feeling of incomplete evacuation.
